I used to have a long and rambling page here. Aside from being full of information nobody would ever want to know, it was also horribly out of date. So here's the shorter version.
I'm me. I've spent my time since 1992 working in the Internet industry for a variety of ISPs. I spent two years living in Lagos, Nigeria setting up wireless Internet companies. I still do some side consulting with ISPs in the US and abroad (particularly in Africa) where I help with their business and technical plans and operations.
I'm taking graduate classes at Georgia State University towards a masters in Political Science. I'm about to switch over to the International Business program.
I love to travel. I love culture shock. I love meeting new people. My ideal job involves earning frequent flyer miles to interesting places- even interesting places other people might not be interested in seeing (for some reason, Equatorial Guinea is on my list of countries to visit).
I make beer and wine at home. I've made several unsuccessful attempts at making cheese at home. I'm also interested in baking, and when Heather and I eventually sell our condo and move into a larger house, I'm going to build a stone oven in the back yard to make pizza and breads.
